- "Because of the time I needed to start work, I had to request an early breakfast. They were able to accommodate that. The reception staff were helpful and friendly, especially at check out."

- "The room was very small and directly behind reception, so it was quite noisy."

- "Very small bathroom in room 2. Elec lead on kettle too short. Room too warm. No easily accessible elec plug points."

- "Location close to main areas with very convenient Bus stop, Staff were freindly."

- "Worst shower I have ever encountered water barely made it out of the shower head virtually no pressure at all. Cooked breakfast nothing to write home about, sausages particularly bad tasted like cheap frozen with very low meat content. If your in the breakfast room much after 09:00 learn to finish in the dark as the lights get turned off no matter how many people are in the room.Due to fringe festival being on and booking late price was higher than would expect for this standard of accomodation, expect to pay at least 2% more than advertised price as you need to supply card details to booking.com to make your reservation and The Cumberland hotel takes payment before you arrive and charge for Debit and credit card transactions."
