- "besides cockroachs in the lobby climbing on your foot, towels were extra thin and old, breakfast was nothing special and the sound isolation in the rooms was so poor it felt like sleeping in the street."

- "Just off Copacana beach, the location is excellent for getting to see Rio. The staff were friendly, if a little slow to do basic things; like check you in.
The rooms were huge, but a little stale; perhaos we would have made more of it if we'd stayed longer and hadn't been racing around the city seeing all of the sights."
