- "Took 3 days to switch from bad rooms to a good one. Bad door lock, toilet was noisy, no frig in rm 149, then 2 nights in 117- ac not ok, sewer smell, small ants, no pool or ocean view as advertised. Told we could use pool at motel across street but they said we could not. Not moments away from beach as advertised. It was also across road under construction and inaccessible. Ocean view was blocked by tall fence with a tarp on it. It is an old old place and picture of the pool in your ad was taken decades ago. The whole place should be bulldozed down. There was no other affordable place in Key West and we left two days early. It was a major disappointment. It is evident that you do not actually see the places that you advertise. Major big disappointment was the lack of a pool for us to swim in as that was what my niece wanted the most and, of course, the bad condition of the two rooms. Took three days to get us into a good one. Many excuses from staff unable to help until manager returned. I can say that the workers were polite and did as much as they could in spite of the poor condition of the old old place. Why was first nights rate so high? Prices and and bottom line cost should be in detail on computer before you agree to hidden costs and taxes, etc."

- "The pool was not in working order. After more than one question about the pool, we were told we would be allowed to cross the very busy highway and use the Marriott pool. We did use their pool, but it was not exactly convenient nor safe. For the price/night that we paid, there should have been some compensation for the lack of pool facilities!"

- "This hotel should be gutted and totally redone. The only saving grace
was that there weren't bed bugs as far as I could tell. We only
stayed one night and would never stay there again. If you need a place
in key west drive to the other side of town and find a vacancy some
where else. This place was disgusting. The building is literally falling
apart. The rooms are equipped like a roadside motel from the 1970s. The
shower was gross. So if you must stay there don't stay in room 130.
