What did you like the most?: "The hotel was charming in a very pretty setting - beautiful drawing room in which to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink The staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The food was excellent - delicious and very well presented."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "My sister and I stayed in a superior twin-bedded room. It was rather on the small side and dimly lit, which gave it a gloomy feel. The beds were not the most comfortable with rather lumpy pillows. Although the towels were changed each day, the bed linen wasn't changed in the 4 nights we spent there."

What did you like the most?: "Hotel was lovely, Food was excellent, good wine list. Good choice on set dinner menu, presentation and the mixture of flavours were brilliant. We ate in the restaurant both evenings. good value to. The lounge and bar area are very relaxing. The conservatory is very tastefully decorated as is the rest of the communal areas. Breakfast was also great lots of choice and the hot food was hot and served on hot plates. The complementary sherry or port on arrival was a nice touch and the complimentary cream tea was delicious the chef is fantastic.Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, If you like old world accommodation that is classy,clean , brilliant food, great service then this hotel is a good option. We walked the coastal path which was easy to find from the hotel. lots of car parking space."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The hotel was difficult to find by car ,not well sign posted. Our room was in the roof with dormer windows a bit of a problem for my tall husband. No separate shower. Gardens away from the main house are over grown but lovely around the conservatory and patio area"

and were not dissapointed, the food was lovely, freshly cooked, with
good service. We had a very pleasant 'but brief' stay, and would return
if we had the chance."
