- "The castle commends a good view. Staying in such a place is really an
unusual experience. Though Siena is 3.3 km away, it is definitely a
retreat from hustle and bustle of city life. Most importantly, the host
is a nice guy, he introduced the history of the castle to us, showing us
around, even onto the tower." - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "There are many reasons to visit Castello Delle Quattro Torra. We were at
our honeymoon, and what can be more romantic then to stay a couple of
nights in a real castle?
The castle is old, but the three (3) rooms that they have is nicely renovated into modern comfort, still maintaining the feeling you would like to have when visiting a castle. Since they have so few rooms, there is a personal contact between the owners and the guests, it feels like home immediately. The staff is very friendly and nice!
WIFI working everywhere, it's clean, nice staff, breakfast served by the owners mother, who kindly asks, "when do you like to have breakfast?" :)
Best of all is probably the view from the "Tower room", 360 degrees, overlooking the city of Siena, and the Castles own wine and olive farms.
It's two narrow stairs to come up, heavy, or bulky luggage is difficult to get up, but who needs that anyway? We left what we didn't need in our car, no problem.
I recommend to stay 3 night, it gives you time to a full day visit in Siena, the staff will give you all info about restaurants etc. Siena is a beautiful old city. One day to visit the lovely city of Firenza, (Florence), only 75 km away. There is a lot to see there, so plan a full day.
The last day, you should spend just walking on the farm, enjoying the atmosphere, the olive trees, the wine plants, organize a pick nick on a hill, overlooking the Toscana landscape, under the shadow of an olive tree, spread your blanket, enjoy some nice cheeses, italian sausage and a local Chianti wine. This as it good as it gets... :)

delightful, welcoming, and helpful. They even set us up for a fantastic
dinner at a nearby farmhouse. Our entire experience was excellent and we
