Spain. Luis the owner/manager could not do enough to make our stay
welcoming and comfortable. Wonderful." - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "We initially booked here for one night but ended up staying for two
nights as we enjoyed both the Hotel and Monsaraz so much. Luis the host
is fantastic and was extremely helpful. We had the smallest room with
two single beds which was fine for us. For someone taller the beds in
this room may be a bit short (standard single beds) and the large
double beds in other rooms may be better. Luis offered to move us into
a bigger room for our second night but we were more than happy with the
original room.
We opted not to have the breakfast so we cant comment on that; it is EUR5 per person.
There is a shared lounge area on the first floor and we used this for a few hours on the second day to relax for a while. They had a good movie channel on the TV that was in English.
There are several good restaurants within the walls and both the ones we ate at were very good and reasonably priced.
Parking within the walls is not permitted between 11am and 6pm but you can drive in through the gates and park next to the hotel to drop off your bags. There are several car parks just outside the walls. If you are arriving by car then go past the car park at the top of the hill and turn left through the stone archway just before the road ends. Then take the first left up the hill and then turn right and look for the hotel sign on your left, about 50m before the church. Luis will then direct you to the best place to park during the day."

- "I loved the warm welcome by Luis, the very charming owner, who showed us around his place and made us feel at home. Not to mention the beautiful room, full of atmosphere. The quiet of the place. The most elegant furniture, comfortable beds with crispy, white linens. All topped by a wonderful breakfast with fresh bread, and the best coffee in Portugal!"
