By car: A1; Way out at the direction Torres Novas/Abrantes. Pay the toll. Here starts A23. About 24 km further, follow the direction Constância-Oeste. Choose the direction to Constância. Overpass the Bridge over the Zezere River and turn rigt at its ending. Go down the Avenue das Forças Armadas, by the Zezere, till you find Praça Alexandre Herculano. Park. Casa Joao Chagas is the first on your left hand. Entrance is by Rua Joao Chagas. Generally during the day, we are at O Cafe da Praça, by the Pilorin.Luis Goncalves is your contact. Train Station: EntroncamentoEntroncamento. Take a taxi for a 14 KM trip to Constância. Express Bus to Abrantes. Taxi trip about 13 KM to Constancia.

Reservation may be cancelled or amended up to 72 hours prior to day of arrival of the client. Failure to cancel your booking prior to this time will result in a charge of one night's accommodation apart from the initial guarantee deposit. - "Staff were very friendly and convenient parking nearby. A no frills hotel which does what it needs to - puts a roof over your head and provides you with an adequate breakfast in the morning for your next days travels."

- "bathroom A bit cold lengthy powercut on 2nd night of 3 stay. no lights or power till 1900hrs. (not the hotel'S fault-extreme weather). hotel could have had better contingency plan I.E. candles & matches available. tealights yes, but no matches"

- "Constancia is definitly located in a stretegic place for those ones that
would love to explore the central part of Tagus river in Portugal. The
"casa Joao Chagas" was definitly a surprise inside the surprise that all
this area presented. Fantastic carring staff, the possibility of
enjoying fantastic outdoors and the contact with the cultural and
historical sites makes this place the best choice in the region!"
