- "Hotel is located at Montmatre and you got only a few minutes to walk to
the top and it´s many little restaurants." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Hotel staff speaks only a little bit English, the shower is in a plastic cabine in the sleeping room, the water isn´t warm enough, breakfast is only one croissant, one piece of bread, one piece of butter, a little bit marmalade, one little glas of orange juice and a warm drink - not very much for a hotel. A toilette is on the floor without a sink (a sink is only in your sleeping room), which isn´t very clean."

- "Economical hotels in Paris are non-existent, but the ones that are not super-expensive ($100-150/night) are way below respective standards in the us for the most part. Considerations when booking besides location will be to consider if there is even a restroom in the room itself and to the cleanliness of the facility. The Bonsejour Montmarte is an exception to this. I have stayed at hotels in third-world countries that are better than this hotel. Between unfriendly staff, filth, poor design, it ruins the vacation experience. I was glad/anxious to leave at the end of the trip. The following are a specific list of what is wrong with this hotel: 1. Bathrooms. Not in room (frequent problem with Parisian hotels), and painfully small, only a few feet in greatest diameter, not enough for an adult to sit on the toilet without have to bend in uncomfortable ways. There is only one of these per floor (about 4-6 rooms per floor). 2. Rooms. Tiny, I?ve seen closets bigger than this. Ours was covered in a thick layer of dust, if anything fell on the floor it would be instantly covered in this. I don?t have allergies, but I cannot imagine what this would do to someone who did. There was a putrid smelling pillow we quickly threw out of the room. We had a shower in a room, approx 2 by 2 feet. Noise could be heard through the paper thin dry walls all day and night, the staff, other guests, the street noises. Obviously, not ideal to couples who prefer to be discrete. I did not have a good nights sleep the whole time I was there. There are no phones of clocks of course. 3. Staff. Not only unfriendly but their stupidity was insulting. On check in, I waited (impatiently), for almost an hour while the manager/receptionist was on the phone dealing with something. During the day you can hear him shouting at his employee (a lady which I am unsure if he was married to or what)."
