What did you like the most?: "the fact it was opposite the venue where my sister was holding her wedding reception."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Had the hotel been sold to me as a "budget" hotel then I would not have been as dissappointed as I was. The room was dark (scaffolding up outside window, decor was extremely old fashioned, the bed linen consisted of sheets and a blanket with an eiderdown and no mattress cover which I thought was disgusting! The carpets were flowery 1960's style and grubby. It was so noisy in the corridor where floorboards are loose. Overall the hotel needs to be completely refurbished. And on top of this, using the shower for the first time the shower screen dropped out of its fixing and I had to scream to my son (21 years old) to come and rescue me! which sounds hilarious I'm sure; but standing in the shower with no clothes is not a state I wanted my son to see me in."

What did you like the most?: "The room was very large and had a fridge."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "This hotel was probably once a grand place but definitely no longer deserves to be advertised as 'luxury accommodation'. The decor was extremely old and tired. The room was very basic with fittings falling off the walls. It had an old style shower and not even a glass in the bathoom."

What did you like the most?: "Nice building and location. Piano bar overlooking sea and spacious room."
Is there anything you didn't like?: "Bed very hard. Food very poor. First night meal was not as described on menu. Chicken lacked flavour as did roast vegetables. Pork was tough. We and another couple had earlier ordered from bar menu which said sandwiches came with crisps and coleslaw and salad. We only got the salad. Apparently the chef had been away and did not know about change to menu. Another man got almost raw fish with his chips. It was taken and returned but he did not eat it. He and his wife left. Breakfast is ok but everything is self service including tea amd coffee. Toast is brought by the jovial waiter but it is toasted on the outside and still bread on the inside. The machine must be set to high and too fast."
