What did you like the most?: "The staff at the Best Western were wonderful. What started out as a celebration of our son's graduation from the Culinary Institute, ended with the death of my brother in a nearby town. The staff added a day to our stay, arranged so that we did not have to change rooms, expressed genuine sympathy, fixed a discrepancy in our bill and went above and beyond in taking care of us. Shawn, Michael and Carol are the staff members I want to praise and thank.
The scenic view from the breakfast room was very comforting to us.

What did you like the most?: "The peaceful location and the unhurried atmosphere"
Is there anything you didn't like?: "The fact that the toilet suddenly ceased functioning, just as we were going to bed. It would have been a hassle to change rooms at that point and so we were forced to use the toilet facilities on the 1st floor. For this serious inconvenience we received a measly $10 reduction on the price of the room and no apology from anyone in a senior position."

What did you like the most?: "The hotel is almost a cute boutique hotel. Does not look like a chain. Lovely patio/deck to eat breakfast overlooking a creek where we watched deer in the morning. Many choices in the complimentary breakfast. Location was fine for us. Only there two nights as we spent a day in the Hudson River Valley."
