- "We booked a table for 7 o clock when the dining room opened and wasnt shown to our table for another 50 mins, the wait was far to long and the dining room only has a few diners in it what was the delay, the food was expensive and there wasnt much of it and the quality was poor, if you are a vegetarian like me I hope you like goats cheese for starter and main course very disappointed.the food in the pub was excellant and was full of hotel guests every night but beware the same round of drinks in the hotel was more expensive than the pub. We had a lovely premier room but was dissapointed with the view at the back of the hotel all premier rooms should have a sea view that is why they are premier and cost more."

- "service at breakfast was terrible, no tables available and had to wait in lounge along with others also waiting. It was not particularly busy but grossly understaffed and totally lacking in management. It took over 1 hour to finally get breakfast."

- "This was a wedding Anniversary stay as we had our Wedding Reception at the hotel five years ago, and come back each year. The staff were very friendly to us and very attentive, and the room was lovely. My Mum had orded Champaine to be in the room, and it was there on ice when we arrived along with the glasses, so a lovely start, and we had a great meal in the conserverary, looking forward to returning soon."
