- "The doors were so close it always sounded like someone was trying to enter your room. The place probably could use some updating."

- "Solvang is evolving. Where once were shops and eateries directed towards the Danish people are now a plethora of wine tasting shops. I don't drink wine. I will in all probability not be quite as enthusiastic about visiting Solvang as I had been in the past years."
