It has been refitted since I last stayed there but we got an older style room, which doesn't fit the 4 star billing. The newer room looks much better and I got it when I stayed business, but not this time." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Getting into the centre of Lyon by walk involves navigating the train station. Going under the bridges was a very dodgy experience, so I would recommend going through the train station. However, access to the city via the train station is not that obvious or well signposted. I have stayed at this hotel three times now, once on business, twice leisure. They don't really have parking - its a misleading claim. There is a small car park behind the hotel which is used for staff parking, not guest parking. Go straight to the train station parking. They use the train station Lyon Perrache parking, which is secure, but about 200 yards walk away and down stairs/elevator. You also get limited entry into the parking using the code on the parking card. This is not very convenient if you have multiple bags, although the hotel rate saves you a couple of Euro in the walk-in price. Expect to pay 14 euro for parking. This parking is not reservable and if you turn up when its full, you'll be in trouble. I dislike the lift no end. Small and there was only one in operation. For me, the parking is a downside and that's why I wouldn't recommend it to anyone travelling as family or with more than average luggage."

- "It is necessary to pass dirty train station every time you return from downtown. Room was really small, no place for luggage. Bed was with a pit in the middle, mattress should be replaced."
