- "the desk clerks were courteous and helped me with a horrendous situation that occurred on my 2nd night stay. They were understanding and helpful"

- "My room (208) was sub par. There was a 3/4 inch gap under the door which let in the cold night air. The remote for the TV didn't work, we had to go to the TV to do everything. There was a large group staying at the hotel the 2 nights that I was there. They stood outside on the balcony both nights, laughing, cursing, smoking weed, and yelling. The first night they quieted down about mid night. The second night (Saturday)they were on a roll. The were so disturbing that I called and asked the front desk to send security to make them go into their rooms. Security came and they went into their rooms as he approached, I could hear them say, " Here comes the po-po (security guard) and they cleared the balcony. about 15 minutes later (1am) they were back out on the balcony, cursing, laughing and drinking and smoking. I had a towel at the door the night before to keep out the cold air, but Saturday night the weed smoke started coming in to my room. So I called the front desk again and asked could they call Concord police department maybe they can clear these guys away. Again the hotel security came and saw a couple of the guys and they went into their rooms. This time the security guard knocked on my door rather loudly and said, "Did you call the front desk?" I said yes through the door, and he left. A few minutes later my room phone rang and a guy said, "Is this room 208? Do we have a problem? He kept talking but I hung up on him. I called the front desk again and explained what happened and that when I checked out in the morning I was not going to pay for my room for the second night. Needless to say you staff took care of my second night. But I will never, stay in a Best Western hotel again. The group of people that was their should not be allowed to stay there either. They were very, very intimidating."
