- "It only took 15mins to walk to the city centre, Staff were very friendly and welcoming"

- "The room was very cramped, there was a sink in the room instead of the bathroom, when you sat on the toilet in the bathroom your knees touched the door, the shower was not the best, situated right next to the toilet, there was no room to get dryed unbelievably small, there was no room to walk around the bed you had to climb over it to get to the tea and coffee otherwise you would hit yourself off the TV that was shoved in a corner on the wall and the bed creaked loudly everytime you turned over in bed, which woke me up and so i did not get much sleep"

- "It was snowing outside but as soon as we entered the hotel it was warm and comforting . the room was warm day & night & the bed was very comfortable"

- "no cooked breakfast on offer"

- "It was close to the towncentre and on more clement weather it would have been a pleasant walk to the above. Our room was warm, comfortable, clean and just right for our needs. We enjoyed the stay York is a lovely City and will be back."

- "It was a bit of a hike to our room but gave us a great overlook of our surroundings youngsters would love it."
