- "The food was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The service was personal and prompt. Individual fire in the bedroom was homely.
The country setting was relaxing." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "There were appropriate items of antique furnishings in the house which added to its age and character however the overall presentation and finishes to the property were disappointing as they were generally tired - dated curtains poorly hung at the edges, stained wall and ceiling finishes due to damp, cracked glass in the atrium ceiling to the dining room, badly peeling paintwork to the outside windows, reference books in the front reception poorly arranged etc. The lounge was a little cold on arrival but the staff lit the fire on request."

- "This was the hotel that we treated ourselves to when booking our ten day
trip through Ireland. The dinner, though expensive by our standards, was
excellent. This is an old manor house, beautifully kept and very
obviously treasured. A lovely stay."
