- "Hotel rooms need to be renewed. Inside a little bit shabby."

- "The small kitchenette is a great thing, especially when travelling with small children. There were a few free parking spots available in the vicinity of the hotel (although those spots were taken up quickly, but we were lucky to find one)."

- "It is quite noisy at night, even at the side other than at the main street."

- "The apartments are clean and utilitarian ? fairly basic but fine for a short stay. Kitchen is small and thinly equipped, but good enough for simple cooking. Price good value in late May 2012. The apartments are only a 10 minute walk from the old town centre, which is pedestrianised and with many bars and restaurants to choose from and a good market. The area where the apartments are located has lots of local outdoor life, bars, eating places, small supermarket etc.
Parking is expensive at 15 Euros a day, but we thought it more convenient to have because we were touring. Staff all fairly friendly and helpful ? especially housekeepers who were excellent. On-site café-bar (which we did not use) seemed to have a decent selection of stuff for breakfasts.
Tierra Astur in ?Cidre Boulevard? was a good experience ? a busy bar/restaurant which specializes in the theatre of cidre pouring ? an Asturian tradition seen in every bar and cideria in the area. Good food, good portions, fair prices (apart from grilled vegetables which seemed disproportionately expensive). The rest of this street a little tacky but plenty of choice elsewhere around the old town. Also visit Gijon ? a delightful sea front only 30 mins drive away. Also a worthwhile trip is up into the mountains to Parque Natural de Somiedo." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Situated on a busy roundabout, without air con in rooms could prove to be too much in the summer. We had a room on the fourth floor facing the roundabout and asked to be moved after the first night. The new room at the rear of the building was much better."
