    Hotel Casablanca is a two star hotel in Almuñécar (Granada). The property is right on the beachfront, and has been recently restored while keeping an Arabesque style.

    Tropical and subtropical vegetation surround the area and are the reason why this coast is called “Costa Tropical”.
    The hotel has 39 rooms that are fully equipped with a flat screen TV, a safety deposit, a desk, a private bathroom with a hair dryer and some of the rooms have a private terrace.

    There is a restaurant at the hotel and also a bar-cafeteria where the client can savor Mediterranean meals either for lunch or for dinner. At the social lounge there is Wifi access, a TV and air conditioning.

    The hotel is 10 minutes away from the city, 75 km away from Granada and 80 km away from Malaga, and just a few minutes away from the street.

From Almería, take the highway “Carretera Nacional 340”- It’s 140 Km away.

    The Hotel is located in front of the two main beaches of Almuñécar: Playa de San Cristobal y la Playa de la Caletilla and next to the parks “Parque del Majuelo” and “Loro Sexi”, and next to the Tourist Information office. Just 5 minutes away from the bar zone and the city’s Old Town.

"Aside from everything?! Well.. Everything! We loved everything about the hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms, the very friendly and well accommodating and helpful staff. And most especially the location. No one can beat with the location of the hotel, it's smack right in front of the beach and tons of restaurants and bars along the long stretch of the beach walk! And my favorite is the nightly hippy-flea market just outside the hotel in the plaza. But the most amazing thing is with all the hustle and bustle on the street, we didn't hear a thing in our hotel room -- perfect for a good night's sleep!"

"We have stayed here before, and this charming and very centrally located hotel is lovely! The terrace is a very entertainig place in the heart of the beach area, and you can easily walk to everything."

"This is the most difficult review I have given to Booking. The hotel was full of charm, with attractive décor and we really liked it, but with reservations. The restaurant proved to be excellent, though booking is required due to its popularity. If we stay again it will be off season,"
Is there anything you didn't like?
"This is not a hotel for people who need peace and quiet. The only thing wrong with it was NOISE. Aircon was noisy (ducted type), doors would not shut without slamming them, and the little square facing the hotel is the location of an attractive and buzzing little night market. Also, being July, the restaurant was outside and although we were on the side of the hotel the noise from diners, market, children, dogs etc, went on till the early hours. At first light there is a dawn chorus of seagulls, pidgeons, house martins and PARROTS! Plus a man hosing down with a noisy street washer. It was such a shame but we couldn't sleep!"
