- "Restaurant staff was cold and unfriendly. Food was average nothing exceptional. We sent back an entree which was not to our liking and ordered a replacement entree and were charged for both."

- "Margarita on reception provided excellent customer service, calling our previous hotel to locate an item left behind there and also proactively arranging an excursion for us based on very limited (and somewhat inaccurate) information we provided. The restaurant staff were charming as well."

- "The hotel could consider extending breakfast until 10.30. I noticed a number of people still eating when everything was cleared away promptly at 10.00."

- "Staff was rather inept. Whatever you asked for - they had to call the director. They were not able to help with the transport to Catania airport (you need to take the ferry from Lipari to Milazzo, then a bus)."
