- "The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us great tips about
car rental and helped us with printing flight tickets. The apartment had
a very good location, on a small, quiet side street but still close
enough to the city centre. I'd suggest this apartment for a budget
traveller, who appreciates practical values, not luxury. The apartment
was spacious, light and the condition and equipping were all right. The
wi-fi worked flawlessly, and the washing machine was a great help to us,
as we stayed 11 days and had some laundry to do.
There were also few shops in the neighborhood, where you could buy usual breakfast stuff etc. We went to the grocery store on the other side of the street to eat breakfast. They had really good buns and espresso in a very reasonable price. There was also a couple of cafes and bars in 500m distance. We rented a car for 4 days and had no problem parking it on the street either." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We had no clean-up at all during our stay. The apartment started to look quite dirty in the end of our holiday. The apartment had no radiation either, so the room temperature was rather low, maybe 18 degrees Celcius (I don't know if any of the houses in Madeira have radiation systems, except fireplaces etc.). I didn't find it too cold, but my boyfriend did. We had enough hot water in the shower, but you had to keep the water running for almost 10 minutes before. The pressure in the shower was also poor and I found it a bit hard to wash my hair (but this seems to be a problem nearly everywhere outside Finland, again :D). The place was very quiet, except that there was a cock on the neighborhood and it started screaming every morning many hours before sunrise, but we got used to it (and once again, there are many of them in Madeira, so I don't think you can really avoid them.)"
