- "Rio is an expensive city. This was a reasonably priced place and as an apartment it was useful having a kitchen - even though it was extremely basic.
Was useful having the drinking water filter in the kitchen - the best asset!" - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "The Internet was very slow and didn't work in the room but they. Had a courtyard it worked ok in on and off"

- "Serviced daily, with fresh towels. Free wifi. Direct dial to the apartment is possible without going through switchboard. Comfortable stay.Thought twin room might have meant bunk beds from the photographs but bunks are actually in the living room with a separate en suite bedroom. We really benefitted from the extra space and the fridge/cooking facilities as the weather was extremely bad the week we were in Rio so it was good to not feel too confined in a small space when we didn't go out immediately as we meant to. In reality, photos on booking.com do not do the building justice. Electronic safe for valuables in the bedroom. Good location, felt really safe. 2 blocks from Metro, about 4 from the beach, close to supermarkets and cambio exchange. Really enjoyed the fruit market in the park outside Wed morning. Staff a bit adverse to calling taxis but a major road is one block down, so easy enough if no taxi happens to come down the actual street. (We managed to hail one going right past the apartments when we were leaving) Most guests seem to be Brazilean but staff speak good English. Very clean with comfortable beds. From the sounds below, we think they are still renovating. The stove looked brand new but the bathroom is still a bit dated."

- "At this price, do not expect luxury. Basic but comfortable. As a previous reviewer mentioned, there is no dishwash liquid/dishcloth/sponge in the kitchen. Bring your own if you expect to use it - the cleaner does not wash dishes daily. (And expect to drink hot drinks out the glasses as there are no cups!) The TV signal kept cutting out and freezing which was a bit tiresome. Hard tiled surfaces do mean sound travels so bring earplugs if you are a VERY light sleeper. A surprising number of trucks for such a residental area in the wee hours of the morning the one night and another night we could hear the flat next door yelling at each other! Also, note the major road nearby to simplify directions, as the apartment is on a minor side street facing the park, some taxi drivers don't know it without calling a friend first!"
