What did you like the most?: A very clean well run hotel, good breakfasts and efficient service. sent it by Anónimo
What did you like the most?: Staff were really helpful & friendly and the communal bar/reception area was most comfortable and relaxing unlike a lot of places. Free Wi Fi was a plus.
The rooftop breakfast room was spacious, clean,had great views and was guaranteed to fill you up with all sorts of goodies to set you up for the day. Don't know how they do it for the price.

What did you like the most?: Very good and friendly hotel near Albufeira in Olhos de Agua, clean,
good bathroom, airconditioning, mini fridge,spacious room for the price,
good choice for breakfast, fresh fruits, tomato, free and good wifi in
public area, excellent location, managed to stay in the hotel without a
car, very near big supermarket, 50 meters from the bus stop for
Albufeira or Faro (quite frequent, 20-30 mins weekdays). Nice view for
Olhos de Agua which is a nice small fishing village with tipical
algarvian buildings.

What did you like the most?: The hotel is a 3 star, basic but with large bedrooms and balcony, some with a sea view. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The sfaff were friendly at all times. sent it by Carsten

What did you like the most?: Breakfast was good, only missing something different as every day choice was the same. No hot food. Bathroom was ok. But the biggest + is walking. If you like walking a lot then it's perfect place for you (not joking). sent it by Alagem

What did you like the most?: It was very clean and comfortable and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We were impressed with the furnishings, cleanliness and atmosphere.
The only drawback is that although there are a few bars and one restaurant close by, because of the time of year (November) they were taking it in turn to open so not much choice really unless you got a taxi to the main strip.
The beach wasn't too far to walk but there is not a great deal to do close by.

What did you like the most?: This was our fifth stay at the Velamar and cannot fault anything about it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent buffet style breakfast. Good location, very nice bar area with reasonable prices. sent it by Anónimo
