- "beds very hard, squeaking with the slightest movement. Pillows very flat and hard. not very near shops or restaurants or sights. needed taxi to get to beach although shuttle bus but it ran at odd times."

it was quiet, pool was great and never too busy. breakfast was brilliant and staff friendly.room was always clean and tidy with lovely clean sheets and towels. loads of hot water always available, had a lovely bath.Air conditioning brilliant, couldn't have slept without it.
!5 minutes walk into portimao suited us well, in reach of good local fish restaurants, Quintinha around the corner and Theresina 10 minutes walk into town. Good bus and train services, went to Alvor, Monchique and Lagos, all worth a visit." - Is there anything you didn't like?

- "The staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was basic but comfortable
and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was fine. I repeat that the staff are
great, the welcome is warm and its a great place to stay." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The only drawback was the location. Its a bit off the beaten track. If you do not mind walking then its ok. However if you are older or you have children you really need to have a car as the bus service is not great and although there is a shuttle bus to the beach the last one back is at 6pm."

- "It was great value as we booked through booking.com and paid ?58.00 for three nights in a double room with ensuite. Well worth our money! Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke perfect English. There was an indoor pool and an outside pool which we basically had to ourselves in May with perfect weather! Our room had two separate beds which was fine and the ensuite was large and spacious.
There was a shopping centre a few minutes walk away which was convenient." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The beach was far away, a car would take 8-10 mins, but the pools were more than enough!!!"
