"Location of hotel is very convenient for the main road from Santander to A Coruna, (A8 -A632) but at the same time we were not disturbed by road noise -very peaceful.

- What did you like the most?
- "The rooms were large and well equipped and they have a nice little swimming pool."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "When we arrived there was nobody at reception and it took us 15 minutes to find somebody. The hotel is part of a large hotel, restaurant complex on the main road obviously used for weddings etc and as such was rather impersonal."

- "Our room was spotlessly clean and we had a superb view from the French windows on the third floor."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We were the only occupants and did not see a single member of staff for the whole stay apart from on checking in. The pool was not in use; the spa was not in use either! The hotel seems to give priority to it's local functions (weddings, conferences, communion celebrations ect) rather than hotel guests! Continental breakfast was very average and predictable."

A twenty minute walk downhill took us into Cudillero, the road is well lit after dark, where there is a good choice of restaurants and a harbour - but no beach."
