- "The location is stunning and the hotel itself is very unusual in appearance in and out. The rooms are all individually designed and very large and comfortable with lovely sea views. We stayed overnight on our way to the ferry port at Santander as Suances is a lovely quiet location about 40 minutes from Santander with easy road access. The staff are mainly the family who own the hotel and were very friendly and spoke some English although most of their guests are Spanish. The dining room has great clifftop and sea views and the beach appeared to be a great favourite of surfers."

- "Limited choice of menu if you choose to eat in the hotel but our supper of pizza was very good and well priced."
