- "Excellent friendly staff, the basic rooms are adequate, bathrooms usually available, close to 96th Street subway. Excellent Metro Diner round the corner."

- "The room was a good size and clean, the bedding was snowy white and clean, there was free wifi and a good sized flat screen TV. The location was very convenient for my needs (ie upper west side) and it is only 3 blocks from an express 1/2/3 subway station. The bathroom was reasonable for a shared bathroom."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Unfortunately the heating was broken when I arrived on a very cold (-4C) evening. This was explained to me but they would not give me a discount when I checked out, even though I had to sleep in my gloves, fleece, scarf and ultimately my hat! I accept it was exceptional circumstances, but still... Also, as per other reviewers, the walls are pretty thin."
