The estate has always belonged to the same family, in which he makes a great effort to give customers the best service, always in a very personalized service. The restaurant Mas Palou combines a varied Mediterranean cuisine with the Catalan specialties in roasts, fish and salads. The restaurant is open daily. Breakfast available with room service. The mas Palou an optimal location both geographically and artistic. Housed in a farmhouse from 1582 renovated, ideal for discovering the beautiful Alt Emporda, surrounded by nature, with spectacular views of Alt Empordà and Roses Bay, where guests will discover an atmosphere that conveys comfort and tranquility. The result is a delicate symbiosis of field beach, a tactical agreement between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean. What did you like the most?: Excellent small hotel with plenty of character away from the hustle & bustle of Roses. Lovely terrace setting for both dinner & breakfast.
Friendlt and efficient staff.

What did you like the most?: Roses is a very busy and noisy town. Being located just outside the
town, Mas Palou is in a quiet, easily accessible location, with a large
car park. It has all the necessary facilities, with the addition of an
outdoor swimming pool, and a great restaurant (if you are a meat lover,
you will love this place!).

What did you like the most?: The hotel is a very relexed place - not too many people, in a beutiful restored farm house, with a nice swimming pool and a smal SPA, just a few minutes out of Roses (you need a car but its a 5min drive), and it has a free parking yard as part of the property. for us as a family traveling with a car, it was excellent - the kids enjoyed the pool every day before/after we went to Roses beaches or touring the Costa Brava touristic points. Getting from the hotel to Roses was very quick, and Cadaques, Figueres and the other attractions are fairly close. The team was very nice and attentive and the breakfest was nice.

What did you like the most?: This hotel really surprised me. I had initally booked a hotel in
Cadaques as we were planning to visit the town, but when I came across
this hotel at almost half the price, with parking and breakfast thrown
in as well as a jacuzzi / spa bath in our room, I decided to take a
chance. The room was very big, beautifully clean and nicely furnished
and the jacuzzi was excellent!
The staff were so helpful and very friendly and although they spoke little english, we managed to communicate well enough. The owner was so pleasant, he chilled a bottle of my own champagne for me and gave us glasses for when we went back to our room. I had also ordered a parcel to be delivered to the hotel to collect when I arrived and they were happy to allow this.
We ate at the hotel's restaurant in the evening and again I was pleasantly surprised. We had iberico ham and melon, duck liver pate, lamb chops and prawn/scallop skewers. The dishes were generously portioned and the quality was absolutely top notch. Their house white wine was also excellent (only 9 euros!) and the whole meal came to about 55 euros, so excellent value. Can't recommend this place enough!

What did you like the most?: We loved that the hotel was surrounded by miles of countryside, very quiet and very peaceful. We loved our dinner at the hotel restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the jacuzzi in the room that we made a good use of. But most importantly to us, our dog was allowed to be with us at all times, freely walking around and could be with us in the restaurant as well.

What did you like the most?: The buildings are very nice and so is the setting - an original farm at the foot of the hills of a nature reserve, away from the concrete blocks of Roses. The staff were very nice and friendly/helpful.
