About Casa Rural La Casa del Montero

Espinosa rural touristic center “ La Casa del Montero”, it is located Espinosa de los Monteros (north of Burgos), it is a house with more than 300 years old. This facade shows the Monteros badge and a wood galery very common in the rural houses of Burgos and than let the light goes through in summer.

In 2007 restored keeping the traditinal architecture of the rural houses of Burgos, without loosing all the nowadays comodities.

This accomodation of rural tourism of Espinosa de los Monteros have 8 rooms with TV, bathroom with hairdryer and an eating-living room with a fantastic chimeny. It has capacity of 15 people and its renta its by bedrooms.

Also, it has a living room in the first floor where you will find all the information needed about the tourism in Burgos. In Merindades and other interest places as Cañones del Ebro, Las Cuevas de Ojo Guareña, el Embalse del Ebro, Puentedey, Oña, etc…

All the decoration of this rural house tries to show the history of Burgos.

In our rural touristic center of Espinosa, we want to create a theme accomodation by paintings in the whole house we tell the history of the creation of Cuerpo de Monteros de Espinosa.

Each room is dedicated to the last Monteros.
