- "checked-in (midnight). We could not get the A/C to cool the room despite the fan blowing. We tried to call front desk to inquire twice and got no answer (using front desk button as well as "0"). We were uncomfortably warm all night. At check-out we learned how to make it work; had to swipe with room key, but no one told us this. We were comped our breakfast (about $7 total) which really did not make-up for a restless night after we were already exhausted from a full day of travel. They should have signs or something to explain this. The manager did offer to give us a 15% discount on our next stay.."

- "The staff should have knowledge of the local bus times and interbus information. They must get asked these questions a lot and they did not know what times they ran or what terminals in San Jose. They were friendly but need to have more tourist infomation."
