- "Well, great value for such money. Furniture and bathroom is litlle bit older, but still functional and for this price I can forgive some small issues :)... Breakfast was great and stuff really helpfull"

- "The beautiful building from XVIII th century, fantastic service, very convenient location. I recommend a walk through Ribeira, it's my favorite district of Porto. If you would like to feel a real Porto and luxury is not only thing which makes you happy then hotel Rex is the place for you!"

- "Difficult to think of anything. Interesting ceiling in the bedroom."

- "Told we could not book in before 2pm as the room was being cleaned. Must have been given a different room because it was not clean. Cracked sink. Grey sheets. Strong smell of gloss paint. Find it hard to correlate ratings so high with the faded old house look in a run down area of Porto."
