- "At £98 per day( room) plus say £40 for evening meal (for 2) and £20 for breakfast (for 2) it can hardly be described as "budget accommodation") Brewers Fayre was not a comfortable environment. It lacked authority. Individually the staff were helpful but it failed on supervision. It also seemed uncertain whether it wanted to be a pub or restaurant. It had a distinctly "boozy" atmosphere The food only just made par....like "Little Chef" a few years ago. It looked a little run-down. For example, my beef and ale pie was grey in colour and very forgetable."

- "The parking of cars outside the rooms should be moved. Perhaps cars should not be able to be parked outside the rooms at night for people arriving late or leaving in the early hours of the morning. We had single beds and the mattresses were too hard."

the university and it was perfectly situated for our needs.
The reception staff could teach glossier hotels a lot because they are so courteous and attentive to needs." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "No real criticism.... You get what you pay for...and you offer budget accomm which is clean and fairly priced"
