About Pensión La Cubana
Pension La Cubana is a small guesthouse situated in the pedestrian area of the Santa Cruz de La Palma old quarter, next to the Avenida Maritima.
It was completely renovated in 2006. The building is very bright and it has a privileged location to enjoy the beach and the atmosphere of the centre of the city.
Among its common areas you will find a traditional living room of the region, where you will have free Wifi connection at your disposal.
Due to its location you will have the chance to enjoy charming cafes and restaurants. Also, you should not miss the Mercado Municipal, next to the Plaza de España.
The urban beach is 10-minute walk. -

Getting there
from the bus terminal: 2 minutes walk into the pedestrian street "Calle Real", after 150 metres on the left side there is La Cubana with the house number 24. From the airport: 10 minutes by car, or by bus no. 8, get off at the bus terminal,from there , see above. From the port: the pedestrian entrance of the port is right oposite the bus terminal.

- "Comfortable bed. Use of lounge . Free tea and coffee , udse of keyttle
and fridgefreezer. Very helpful manager who is multilingual. Safe and
secure - gate to street is kept locked and all guests have a key. 5 mins
walk to the ferry." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The description said there was a sink in the room but we had room 9 which had no sink. This was not really a problem as the toilet with a sink was close by. None of rooms ensuite but this is a pension at 28euros for a double room in the capital city close to the ferry so not really a complaint at this price and location."

- "The hostel is located in the city centre, in the main street and really
close to the bus stop, shops, bars etc. Has a nice, old-fashioned look.
The staff was nice." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The window in the room opened on... The stairs. The floor is quite noisy. There wasn't event a sink in the room."
