- "Very convenient and attractive setting in heart of the town. Easy to
find and park etc." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "I think they were under-staffed so the same person was responsible for the hotel desk, restaurant and bar. As a result the service was extremely slow. However, the food in restaurant was excellent."

- "Receptionist when we arrived was particularly welcoming and helpful. food was good - very old historic town was most interesting and well cared for"

- "photos of the hotel did not show that it sits right on the pavement of a busy high street and the noise that generates. also there is piped American/British style music all day in this High Street which is only turned off when the Town Hall people go home!! 2. The outside of the hotel is over 300 years old-------but the inside has been 100 % gutted - and the man made furniture moved in along with low ceilings - all very clean and tidy - fine for the business man, but as far as we were concerned all character had been lost."
