- "Very easy to find, not far from the motorway but in a very quiet little village. The main building is a beautiful 17th century country home and it has a massive enclosed garden for the children to let off steam after a long journey. The staff were very friendly and we had an excellent dinner in La Bergerie's restaurant. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to accommodate our two young children."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The reception building which is the 17th century country home is the prettiest part of the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms are in a modern building at the back. The rooms were comfortable enough and were furnished in a very bold (but very French) mix of shabby chique and ultra-modern. It looked as if the rooms are currently being done up, as we saw that at least two were in the process of being decorated."

- "The on-site restaurant had a good selection of menus, offering local specialities. We had a very good meal. The location is excellent for travellers on the A4 - only a few minutes away, but with minimal motorway noise."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The rooms in the annex are charmless (though now being renovated) and small for families (though bathroom is more spacious). The annex is situated directly onto a gravel car park. A small wedding reception meant that we were disturbed until 3 in the morning by departing guests, who crunched across the gravel, triggered the security lighting, and nattered directly outside the window for considerable periods. The receptionist did not even offer her apologies the following morning when we complained. Rooms in the annex during events are not for light sleepers!"
