Friendly and familiar

This is not one of those rather anonymos hostals where a lot of people is checking in and out; there are not many rooms, and the owners are able to create a familiar feeling, also due to the really good breakfast which is served personally by the female "chief". To get to the real town centre requires a 10-15 minutess walk, as the Casa Mercedes is situated in a quiet residence area, anyway near by the main beach (Playa de Burriana) of Nerja. If you book a room without terrace it can be a bit noisy, as those are facing, at some distance, the main street to the beach (Filipinas). The rooms with terrace on the other hand are situated in the higher floors, and you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view on the sea. One of the most sympathic aspects is that the hostal, not even big, has also a private swimming pool, as well as a large sun terrace for all guests. acojedor y limpio

Me parecio un lugar muy bien situado, junto en playa burriana y a 15m. dando un paseo del centro. Las habitaciones geniales, amplias y limpias. Muy grata estancia e impresion escrito por jama1974 05/07/2007

Muy bien

El sitio con unas vistas preciosas, las habitaciones limpias y muy amplias, ambiente familiar y agradable.
La única pega fue que estaba un poquito apartado del centro (a 20 minutos a pie), pero en una zona muy bonita.
