Felipe V constructed it, the Royal Palace of Madrid is of arched construction, using stone and brick. Of the reign of Carlos III the throne room, the King's chamber (or Gasparini) and the porcelain room created by the "Real Fábrica del Buen Retiro" (a royal factory) are preserved. The glass hall is of Carlos IV era and the Gala banqueting is from the era of Alfonso XIII. It also has one of the most important collections of its geners guarded in the Royal Armoury. Arms and ammunitions of the Spanish Kings and other members of the royal family are preserved, since XIIIth century.
