As soon as you get to the Manor House you can feel the refinement and comfort everywhere. When you unpack in the nicely decorated bedroom that is coherent to the rest of the house, you find the warmth and peacefulness, combined in a splendid way through the furniture. Strolling through the different rooms, such as Sala da Lareira (Fireplace Room), Salão de Jogos (Games Room) and also Recanto da Leitura (Reading Corner), you can have a strengthening stay, while time seems to pass by in a different era.
In the morning you are welcomed by the sun, which breaks into the house and makes your breakfast a unique sensorial experience, while you relish the regional food. The rest of the day will be spent in harmony with the comfort of the house and with the wild beauty of the region. It is this union of space, light and ambience that waits for the guests and travellers, who will certainly strengthen here, make new friends and feel a strong will to come back…

Getting there:How to get there: From Lisbon, take the A1 heading for Porto, exit in Torres Novas onto A23 and then exit in Manteigas / Belmonte. From Porto, take the A1 in Albergaria and exit onto A25 heading for Viseu / Espanha, exit onto A23 heading for Portalagre / Lisboa and then exit in Belmonte / Manteigas.
Surrounding areas:The Region There are plenty of beautiful places to visit, but we strongly suggest the Glacier Valley of Zêzere, the Poço do Inferno Waterfall, which is in the streambed of the Leandres rivulet, a rivulet whose bed separates the granite from the schist. We also recommend the Caldas de Manteigas that is admired by its thermal waters and, at last, the majesty and splendour of the Mountain’s wild landscape, where you can find unusual crags that look like people and animals because of their anthropomorphic characteristics. The fresh air that you can breathe here, the crystalline waters and the green environment invite you to a pleasant walk that will allow you to find out in every step plenty of interesting spots in the landscape.
