- "The room was very attractive, spacious and comfortable and the staff -
it's a family-run business - were extremely friendly and welcoming.
We had dinner in the restaurant, which is superb: it offers excellent
regional (Alentejo) cooking, including a wide range of game dishes.
The location is excellent with the beautiful hill-town of Marvão nearby and (in summer) pleasant outdoor swimming facilities (river and pool) just outside the hotel.
Both the room and the meal were excellent value for money." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "We were only there for a one-night stopover on a journey. If we had been staying for longer it would have been nice to have a wardrobe or drawers for clothes, and a hairdrier in the bathroom."

- "Staff were excellent room was super with views over mountain and breakfast was fresh and refilled as used. I visited the hotel restaurant and ended up eating there twice on my trip food was superb and house wine under six euros a litre and a huge choice on menu."
