Quinta de São Thiago is a family-run private house and gardens set in a very peaceful environment on the lower slopes of the Sintra hills.

This historical building dates back to the 16th century and was once inhabited by monks from the local monastery. Nowadays it is a guest house that welcomes you to relax and escape from the stress of daily life.

Guests are invited to enjoy Quinta de São Thiago as if it were their own home. On the grounds, a large swimming pool and tree-shaded areas invite you to swim and sunbathe, or relax with a book in the sun.

Quinta Thiago does not have its own restaurant, but offers a nice lunch by the pool or a candle light dinner in the dining room upon prior request.

The entire house is nicely furnished and offers a fusion of modern comfort alongside old charm and character.

Nearby there are sandy beaches, golf courses, ancient palaces and public footpaths winding through the green Sintra hills to explore.
