Hosteria Grau is a family hotel runned by Mrs Garu and her daughter.The bulding is very old but the interior was renovated in 2012.Very charmy and comfortable place. You will feel like home. There is also a cafe bar next door very trendy and some national movies have been recorded there.Very good breakfast service.

Getting there:From the airport either take the Aerobus from outside the terminal building or a train from the RENFE station. The closest stop to the hostel on both the bus and the train is Plaça Catalunya. The last bus leaves the airport at 23.00 and the last train leaves at 22.41. The journey takes 20 to 30 minutes. ç From the railstation(sants station)you can take the metro line 3(green one) and get off in Plaza Cataluña. From North Station, take metro line 1(red one) and get off either in Plaza Cataluña or Palza Universitat. · Once in Plaça Catalunya, take Carrer Pelai (next to El Triangle shopping centre). Take the first street (Carrer Jovellanos) on the left (next to “Pull & Bear” clothes shop). · Follow Carrer Jovellanos to the first crossroads. You will see Bar-Cafe Centric on the right. Hosteria Grau is next door to the bar. The address is Carrer Ramellers, 27.
Surrounding areas:We are located in the city centre approximately 15 minutes walk from the harbour and 25 minutes from the beach. Both can be reached by metro or bus. There are a wide range of museums close to the hostel such as MACBA (The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art), MNAC (The Catalonia Museum of National Art), Palau de la Musica Catalana (an impressive, modernist-style music hall). There are also many modernist-style buildings designed by architects such as Gaudi, Domènech i Muntaner, and Puig i Cadafalch, including the most famous building in the modernist- style of modernist art in the world, Gaudi’s la Sagrada Familia.
