- "Poorly maintained. Shelving unit very dusty, leak in ceiling - water evident on the shelves - door frame area. Television and main heater not working. Difficult to find - a full map and directions would help. Location is next to the market so noisy early am"

- "The location is amazing, right in the middle of the old town with a balcony overlooking the central market. The roof terrace was a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. The room (oriental style) was cleverly composed with beautiful antique furniture - the centrepiece being the 300 year old exquisitely carved opium bed. The room was cleaned daily."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "A small point - we were given wine glasses and a bottle of La Casa Azul own brand wine in our room on day 1 - it was not complimentary, it was 20 euros to purchase which, although a tad expensive, was good quality and very enjoyable. We were however, disappointed that the wine glasses were then removed to give to a new arrival in another room - leaving us with no drinking vessels at all. In fairness, when asked, Bernardo brought us a couple of glasses from his own flat, but I would suggest to the owner that having something to drink (wine or water) out of should be a permanent feature in all the rooms. I would also recommend a hairdryer and an ironing facility somewhere in the building as a permanent feature. To travellers I would recommend taking ear plugs as the market below starts very early each morning but if you have ear plugs in, you can still sleep soundly."
