more expensive but worth it. We also hiked using their
"picture" guides which was fantastic. A fantastic not touristy
part of Spain and the owners of the hotel were fantastic (British wife
and Spanish husband)!"

- "It is a beautiful family run hotel, great breakfast with homemade products in a lovely town, rooms are very comfortable and clean great, value for money we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay, highly recommended."

- "Lucy and husband nice, but missing all the time."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "The bedroom was VERY small and the bathroom really small and uncomfortable, with old, white tiles. Condensation on mirror, floor and walls took hours to disappear!!! The carpets and rugs were very old and worn out . It urgently needs renovation. They charge the price of an eco-friendly, charming rural house and you get an uncomfortable small room in an old house."

- "Very helpful owners guiding us about local area. Lovely breakfast with home made and local produce. Room had good air conditioning. Alajar is a great village with enough going on for fun people watching with plenty of good walking. Some comfi sofas downstairs to settle down on."

- "No staff on site - they are down at their posher place down the road. Nothing luxurious about the bathroom but everything clean and working."
