- "Friendly staff, good location, clean. Descent value for the money."

- "A bit noise from the street. Water should be warmer. Breakfast was OK but there was not much selection of foods. No cereals or yogurt."

- "Nothing exceptionally outstanding about this hotel. Its location is great for the money."

- "We asked is we can check out 1/2 an hour later than check out time as we wanted to see the change of guard but were told that we have to check out on time. I mean policy is policy but it'd make a big difference if they can accomodate just a little. A little bit goes a long way..."

- "The hotel is safe but the adjunct area isn't, especially at night."

- "We enjoyed our stay in Lima at Hotel Continental. For a week we enjoyed excellent attention from the guest services department ably operated by Michel Palomino. He showed us how to navigate the city, visit various attractions, and finally booked our trip onward to Cusco and Machu Picchu. The desk staff were always willing to answer questions and suggest nearby restaurants for cebiche and other Peruvian delicacies. We will return to Lima in two weeks and again stay at Hotel Continental."

- "While we preferred staying in the upscale Miraflores section of Lima, we had an interesting time in the historic district while at Hotel Continental."
