- What did you like the most?
- "It's a small 1-Star hotel in which you can find cleanliness, good location and correct breakfast every morning. All features seem to be as good as in better ranked hotels. Perhaps 1-Star obeys to the lack of common spaces but t'he bar is ok and you have AC and TV in your room, besides a nice and refurbished bathroom. Best of all, the warm and friendly welcome from someone who will be everywhere and do her best for you to have a nice stay. Definitely good place!"

- What did you like the most?
- "Not facing the sea directly, Bonaire is still within a one-minute walk from one of L'Escala's beaches, and very (but not excessively) close to the lively night life part of town, so if you are after the post-siesta fun, it's a few steps away. If you aren't, it's far enough to give you enough silence for a comfortable sleep. Thus a perfect score for the location. One ding is no parking available nearby except pretty expensive and tiny beachfront parking lanes, but the staff was kind enough to hint on free parking locations in the nearby streets. Given L'Escala size, the car was still within a 5-min walk.
The establishment itself is not a shiny brand-new glitzy thing, but kept well, with elevators, room AC, water heating, window rolling blinds all in perfect order. With just 10 or 12 rooms total, it gives a comfortable and sort of homely feel. You know all of your neighbors by face after 2 days. The rooms aren't very large, but a good decent European standard size. Most feature a good-sized balcony. Bathrooms are quite small, too, which again is common in Europe. Window view isn't breathtaking as all windows open in a narrow street, which we couldn't really consider a disadvantage, spending all of our day outside anyway.
Staff was very nice and doing everything to provide comfort and convenience. English is a big challenge for parts of the crew, yet they compensate with friendliness and effort.
Breakfasts are nice and tasty, with fresh squeezed juice organic yoghurt and properly strong coffee included.
Overall, a very nice accommodation for a relaxing seaside break, and a good value for the money even at the peak of the season." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Beds are pretty hard so sleeping can be a challenge for those preferring feather clouds. Besides, double bed isn't a real double, but 2 singles moved together, with no overlying large mattress. A limitation on romance. Mosquito extermination devices weren't available. There weren't any mosquitoes I admit, but perhaps it was our luck."
