Este lujoso hotel de 4 estrellas se encuentra en la playa, a sólo 400 m del Palacio de la Magdalena. Se sitúa a corta distancia a pie del centro de Santander y la universidad.

Además de su buena ubicación, el hotel Hoyuela ofrece un diseño bonito y elegante, numerosas instalaciones y servicios de calidad y un buen restaurante. Sus acogedoras habitaciones están muy bien equipadas. Algunas ofrecen vistas al mar.

What did you like the most?: Excellent service and great location. The staff at reception were very helpful (the people of Santander in general are so genuinely nice and friendly). Hotel is very close to beach and not far from town centre. sent it by Juan


What did you like the most?: The Hoyuela is well positioned within Santander, only a short walk to the beach and casino. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to suit all budgets. Good garage parking and helpful reception staff. sent it by James


What did you like the most?: The hotel was excellent value as we stayed in January and it was off-peak. The hotel was beside beautiful beaches and walkways. It was very near to the Palacio Magdalena and walking distance to the town centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very well stocked with every toiletry imaginable. One member of staff in particular, Mar, stood out as being very helpful and helped us organise a bus trip to a neighbouring town. sent it by Anónimo

Impossible to get anything other than a sandwich to eat before 8.30 p.m. ( 20.30 ) The restaurant did not open for dinner until that time.When one has been trevelling for hours something hot is needed.There was a hot snack menu in the bedroom but none of this was available. Fortunately your sister hotel the Gran opposite had the same snack memu & were pleased to serve it to us with a smile.at 7.30;
No one in the snack bar could speak a word of English or French

What did you like the most?: This is a very well situated hotel in a nice part of Santander.
The room was spacious and well appointed.
The bathroom was excellent.
The mini bar seemed to be quite well stocked.
The room was quiet at night.
The Bar was nice with attentive staff and not too expensive.
The Hotel is only a short taxi ride from the centre of Santander and is across the road from the beautiful beach and promenade.
The Casino is next door and some small cafes are within walking distance.

What did you like the most?: We booked the hotel as convenient for our ferry crossing. We wanted secure parking as our car was loaded with luggage. We had a junior suite. Everything was excellent, wide choice at breakfast, excellent parking, good location with a sea view and beautiful architecture in a wooded setting but a few minutes from the centre and ferry. Restaurants within walking distance. Suite has 2 TVs, free wifi and and excellently stocked bathroom. Staff very efficient and speedy in every service. sent it by Antonio

What did you like the most?: Hotel staff were all very helpful although knowledge of English was more
the exception than the rule. Breakfast was well worth the 14 Euros;
proximity to the beach, cafés, restaurants a definite plus; it's a bus
ride to town but they are frequent & the system is easy to understand -
even if you speak hardly any Spanish. So impressed with Santander &

What did you like the most?: Drove off the overnight ferry from Portsmouth, 5 minutes to the hotel. Parked, bags were taken, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Pretty quiet. Good value for the money. Didn't use the breakfast facilities - there are some nice places for food just outside, between the hotel and the beach. What did you like the most?: This hotel is not ultra new, or ultra modern, but it is luxurious and
with free wifi in every room, you can stay in touch in comfort and
style. The restaurant is excellent and the food is outstanding. The
minibar is well equipped to cater for families with plenty of fruit
juices and non-alcoholic refreshments, and the room service provides the
ability to eat the gourmet restaurant quality food without having to
leave your room. All together an outstanding place to stay if you like
to be comfortable. Add to this the underground secure parking for your
