- What did you like the most?
- "Hotel Balmes is situated closely to Las Ramblas Catalunya which is a touristy shopping area. The reception area is clean and inviting and the staff have been friendly. I liked the fact that they had a pool at this facility but I didn't use it."
- Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Housekeeping tends to come by at 10am in the morning so if you don't have your "do not disturb" sign on your outside room door handle at about that time, they will most likely come in unannounced."

- "Liked the location and quiet room at the back of hotel ( had to pay 30
euro per person per night for this) . Enjoyed the African art." - Is there anything you didn't like?
- "Not enough sun beds at small pool area. Rubbish hairdryer !!! did ask for proper hairdryer at reception none available. Come on guys get your act together this is 2013."

- "Tiny, dirty pool Wireless was useless Noisy aircon Uncomfortable single beds in a double booking - was never changed despite asking. No hairdryer, one delivered was terrible. No view whatsover (rm 13) Right next to reception, breakfast room and guest computer so constant outside noise."

- "Room was a bit dark, bathroom a bit tired, not very well sound insulated, woken very early every morning (6-7am) by cleaners & other guests talking loudly in corridor"
