- "I stayed in a private room. The hostel was very clean and secure, with a pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor terrace was a great place to "hang out" or have a breakfast. The room had private bathroom, very nice and clean. It's a 10 minute walk to the city center with easy access to the airport. The staff was very friendly and if I return to Cuzco, I will definitely stay in Marani again."

- "The staff was very friendly and helpful and personally interested. When one of us ended a night in hospital they only charged a single price for one night. The location was fantastic, near the old city centre but in a quiet area. The hostal felt very safe. They had good recommendations for activities and restaurants. The hostal had a good atmosfere and had a nice litlle "cafe" to sit and relax. The breakfast was simple but good."

- "As one of three similar hotels we used in Cusco, Hostal Marani stood out as the only one that had a TV. The bathroom was also very large and commodious, with efficient hot water. The bedding was comfortable."

- "The toilet tank stopped filling during the night, which was a problem when we woke up in the morning. However, once we reported the problem, it was fixed immediately. I found the mattresses to be a bit hard, making it difficult to sleep"

- "Very clean, well-run facility. Lovely courtyard, warm reception, responsive staff, secure. Heat in rooms is extra cost, but there are plenty of blankets. Very pleasant oasis in the heart of Cusco."
