The building itself dates back to 1893 and it used to house the classrooms of the seminary of the Carmelitas Descalzos Order. This Baroque convent, built in the 17th century, is listed for conservation as cultural heritage by the Príncipe de Viana Institution.
There is still an original white mulberry tree in what was originally the school courtyard and is today the private garden of the hotel. This tree is a living testimony of the entire 20th century in Villafranca, known previously as Alesves .
Next to the dining room and with views of the garden-terrace, the salon of the hotel is suited to reading, catching up with news in the press, chatting or simply quiet contemplation.
