What did you like the most?: Very clean, helpful reception, street parking in quiet area felt safe, a very basic hotel-just a small reception and bedrooms. Breakfast was very good and served in bedrooms- no bar or dining room. All we needed and very good value. sent it by Franca

What did you like the most?: Close to Roman sites but sufficiently away from the city to be quiet. sent it by Luca

What did you like the most?: Staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. It is easy to
access and has underground parking for 8 Euros or free parking on a little-
used street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the room. sent it by M.

What did you like the most?: Very friendly welcome. Small but clean room and immaculate shower room. Because of the dog our room had a small, private terrace. Easy free parking in private road outside. Easy dog-walk into town. sent it by Emilio

What did you like the most?: The manager and staff at the Hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and airy and quiet. Also an important plus for Las Abidas, especially for people journeying onwards with a car full of personal things, there is a secure underground car park under the hotel which offers maximum security. Well worth the additional payment. sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: everything...................................... sent it by Juan

What did you like the most?: The hotel is very cute. Small but very nice. It is situated in the quiet area of Merida outskirts. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room that we had was quite small but had very big balcony with a nice view. It smelled nicely there and in the bathroom we found everything necessary: soap, shampoo, shower gel, razors, hair brush, shower hat and glasses. It seamed to be just reconstructed. sent it by Rosa

What did you like the most?: Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location with an interesting (passing the remains of the aqueduct) walk to the town though non walkers may think differently! (a shorter route via the river is possible)
Room very comfortable with no road noise. Breakfast served in room was minimal but fresh and served with a smile! sent it by Juliana

What did you like the most?: Friendly, helpful staff, clean, comfortable room, secure parking if
required. Attractive outside with lots of pretty flower baskets, we had
a very pleasant stay sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: The hotel staff has been excellent and friendly. The was a free garage.
The internet connection worked very feel and the room well equipped and
clean. Although there was any food service the Hotel offered the
possibility to get the breakfast in the room for 3 ?. sent it by Hilary

What did you like the most?: We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and set up of the
rooms. Staff were excellent and we found the breakfast delivered to the
room was quite qurky, however it was a little light on. The location is
in a new development outside of town. It is about a 15-20 min walk into
town and the aqueduct is on the way (4mins). You can catch a taxi back
for 4.50 euros. Good security with gate and front doors. Very good value
for money and would recommend a stay here. sent it by Jacques

What did you like the most?: The location was excellent , just a very short walk to get into the
beautiful river walk gardens ,and then into the city . The three
gentlemen who manned the reception were so pleasant and very helpful .
The whole hotel was very clean ,including the exterior balconies which
are often overlooked . sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: Quiet location, clean and comfortable. Very useful as an overnight stop, close to some of the historic remains. Local restaurants within walking distance. Excellent secure parking under hostal. sent it by Clive

What did you like the most?: This was a very adequate property, comfortable and well priced and close
to the town of Merida. We chose it as a place on route to the Algarve,
and we were not disappointed. The rooms are well appointed, if a little
small, but have large balconies. The staff were very friendly and we had
a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Breakfast was delivered to the
room which was very nice. Parking was on the street, but located on a
fairly quiet cul de sac. sent it by Oscar

What did you like the most?: The price and the fact that it is relatively new. sent it by Anónimo

What did you like the most?: The hotel is clean and simple, and there's a good walk into town past the ruins of a spectacular Roman aquaduct, with storks nesting on top. sent it by Gérard

What did you like the most?: I stayed in a single room - though it was small, it was very clean and they have house keeping everyday. It's right next to a supermarket, and 15-20 min walk passing by the aqueduct to town center and train station (~?4 by taxi). Good place to stay at if you need to stay in town for a day or two. sent it by Daniel
