In 2007 the Hostal Santo Domingo was fully renovated and a modern guesthouse with a marvellous atmosphere was born.

Every room has its own design. It has single, double standard, double superior and double with Jacuzzi rooms. In all its rooms you will find high quality latex mattress and feather pillow, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, heating, telephone and free Wifi.

Besides, there is a meeting room with two PC with Internet access. The accommodation offers laundry service, luggage storage, cold and hot drinks, snacks...

The friendly staff of the reception will help you to rent cars, organize excursions or book ticket for different events.

Hostal Santo Domingo has excellent connections with the rest of the city since it is situated few meters from the famous Gran Via, where there are many shops with the latest fashion trends.

Multiple bars and restaurants, where taste typical dishes, surround this accommodation.

The guesthouse is situated within 50 metres from the Callao metro station (Line 3,5), 200 metres from Santo Domingo metro station (Line 2). If you come by car, the nearest car parking is at the Calle Miguel Moya (Parking Tudescos), 50 metres from here. The GPS coordinates are: 40º 25´18,17´´N 3º 42´18,75´´W

Our guesthouse is located in the centre of Madrid, 100 meters from Callao metro station and 8 minutes walking from the Puerta del Sol – the heart of the metropolis. Staying here you can easily explore the city on foot. Despite its central location, it is far away from the main noisy streets. Behind the guesthouse you will find the Chueca and Malasaña districts, famous for its innovative and multicultural character, with the coolest shops, restaurants and avant-garde premises of Madrid. Discover the whole centre of Madrid: do not miss visiting the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Palacio Real, if you want to discover the enthralling Barrio de los Asturias.

What did you like the most?: The location was great, right off of Gran Via. The hotel was very clean, very modern. The room was big with a very comfortable bed. We had a small balcony that overlooked a plaza which I was worried would be noisy, but with the door closed, I didn't hear anything.

What did you like the most?: Can't complain about Hostal Santo Domingo! The staff were great and the location couldn't be better for the competitive price they have! Less than a minute away from Gran Via (the main road of Madrid) and close to the major metro lines. The hostal was spotless and it was easily the nicest hostal I have ever stayed in. What did you like the most?: The Santo Domingo, was ideally situated for our first visit to Madrid, you can walk easily to the main attractions, ( Prado, Reina Sofia etc) whilst taking in the feel of a bustling city. It is situated on the Calle de la Luna opposite the police station.
The frontage of the Santo Domingo belies the modern interior that awaits you
on the second floor, and the friendly staff for whom nothing is to much trouble. They all speak English should you need it (sadly I do)
